Carol is a qualified Solicitor with over 7 years PQE as an in house commercial / construction solicitor and 19 years of commercial/business and supply chain experience for BAA.

Carol's career to date has enabled her to qualify as a solicitor whilst gaining extensive experience and a strong understanding of commercial, risk and business issues providing a valuable combination of skills to analyse situations from a variety of perspectives and provide innovative solutions.
 
During her legal role in BAA she was solely responsible for the legal issues within the Supply Chain team and had joint responsibility for the Construction team. She has experience of a wide range of legal issues including procurement contracts, intellectual property, construction contracts and related matters and dispute resolution. Carol initiated and developed a standard suite of procurement contracts and guidance notes to provide Supply Chain Managers with the tools and knowledge to negotiate contracts. She developed and delivered a comprehensive training programme on a variety of legal issues.  She was also involved in developing bespoke innovative risk based construction contracts.
