Bill is an experienced procurement professional, having worked in purchasing and supply throughout his extensive career in the construction industry. He is a member of both the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply and the Chartered Institute of Building, blending procurement expertise across varying construction industry sectors including building, civil engineering, power, water and rail. He has worked on both the client's side of the industry for Southern Water and United Utilities as Supply Chain Manager and major 'blue chip' contractors on a wide range of projects, both in the United Kingdom and overseas. In addition, he has also worked with 'Business in the Community' taking responsibility for 'marketplace' and supply chain relationships and managing corporate and social responsibility initiatives with subcontractors and suppliers addressing a range of sustainability issues.
