Laura de Mierre

Laura's 15 year career to date has spanned manufacturing, aviation and consultancy. Laura is working as a Procurement Consultant advising clients on how to incorporate sustainable procurement principles into their procurement processes. This includes establishing corporate drivers, creating sustainability objectives, prioritising spend categories and then creating targets that can be passed down the supply chain to ensure the objectives are achieved. Prior to joining Action Sustainability, Laura spent 8 years working at BAA in their Supply Chain department undertaking strategic sourcing projects, managing large critical construction spend categories including Fit Out, Construction Consultants and Professional Services. Laura also worked on the Heathrow T5 project and most latterly as the Responsible Procurement Manager. Laura began her career working for an international packaging firm as a graduate progressing through roles such as running factory production lines, IT systems implementation and Group Sourcing. Laura has a BA Hons in European Studies and recently became an Associate member of Institute for Environmental Management and Assessment (AIEMA).
