I am committed to ensuring that the GLA group - which invests over £3 billion each year in goods, works and services - uses its procurement to London's best advantage' The GLA's first group Responsible Procurement Report highlights the group's progress in implementing the Mayor's Responsible Procurement Policy, which was adopted in 2006. The policy was developed by the Mayor in order to ensure that the GLA group's annual spend of over £3 billion is spent in accordance with his vision, which is to be an exemplary, sustainable, world city based on three interlocking themes:
