2011 Procurement Leaders' Awards

The official shortlist for the 2011 Procurement Leaders Awards was recently announced, celebrating excellence, innovation and leadership in procurement.  This year, the awards received a record number of entries this year - 229 submitted for the 10 categories and came from an exciting range of companies from across the world.

Category highlights include Corporate Social Responsibility, where there are eight short-listed nominees, including Coca-Cola Enterprises, The Body Shop and Unilever.  In 2010, this highly competitive category was won by Sainsburys.  In the Procurement Leadership category, there are four short-listed individuals: Jean-Francois Baril, Nokia; Julia Brown, Kraft Foods; Detlef Schultz, Vodafone and Remko Van Hoek, GDF Suez and in 2010, the winner was BT.
