McDonald's to open its largest eatery at Olympics

McDonald's plans tolaunch its largest ever restaurant on the site of the main London 2012 Olympicsite.

The company, which is a global partner of the International OlympicCommittee, plans to open a two-storey, 3,000 square metre, diner.

It will be one of four McDonald's restaurants on theOlympic site.

Red or Dead founder Wayne Hemingway is to design an environmentally sustainablenew uniform for McDonald's staff which will be first seen on the Olympicssite.

The company is keen to push its CSR credentials andits latest television campaignhighlights the company's community involvement, environmental initiatives andits track record in "people development".

McDonald's is set to unveil more details of itsOlympics-based activity later today (20 July).
