3e Technologies International (3eTI) is offering a new wireless platform to help federal and commercial building operators better control their systems to manage energy consumption.
3eTI's EnergyGuard platform is based on a real-time energy monitoring and control system developed by the company that has helped to reduce energy consumption in several government and military deployments. In its mission to develop and deliver wireless sensor network solutions for the military and smart-grid markets, 3eTI recently integrated Tridium's NiagaraAX framework into its EnergyGuard system. The upgrade enables the EnergyGuard system to support commercial as well as government and military uses.
EnergyGuard uses wireless sensor networking technology to allow energy managers to analyze usage at the building or campus level from a central location, helping them to securely monitor, control and optimize energy usage.
"Federal and commercial systems managers alike are faced with rigorous mandates to reduce energy consumption and costs," said Benga Erinle, president of 3eTI. "Our platform helps them make their buildings, bases and facilities 'greener' - as well as position these agencies and organizations as leaders in energy management and sustainable energy usage."
EnergyGuard is deployed as a network of plug-and-play sensors that connect via 3eTI's wireless mesh technology. The sensors form a monitoring network for building and campus environments.
