How the Olympics can help kick start your sustainable procurement

Learn more about how the Olympics can help you to procure sustainably by joining us at 'The Olympics and Ethical Procurement' session on Wednesday 2nd November, 8am-10am.

Much work has gone into ensuring the Games' supply chain is ethical, environmental and local, with global standard ethical procurement policies being developed for the 2012 Games. Come and get step by step advice from industry experts on how you can make sure that your own supply chain standards are world class and how you can sustain these standards across the rest of your contracts.

Confirmed speakers include Chair of the Commission for a Sustainable London 2012 and Director of Action Sustainability, Shaun McCarthy; Owner of Cafe Spice Namaste, Cyrus Todiwala and Business Development Manager at the Fairtrade Foundation, Mark Varney.

This workshop is part of the 'Bringing the Olympics to Business' series of events delivered by Heart of the City, the City of London Corporation and the London Sustainability Exchange - to find out more about the other sessions on offer, please click here.

This event series is free but there is a high demand and places are limited. Businesses based in the City and the boroughs of Tower Hamlets and Hackney will be given priority. Book early to avoid disappointment.
