The Strategic Supply Chain Group brings together Senior Executives / Board level representatives to consider environmental and sustainability issues in supply chains.

The Strategic Supply Chain Group aims to:

  • enable organisations to overcome the barriers – both real and perceived – to effective sustainable supply chain management
  • help to set the agenda for business and Government activity in sustainable supply chain management
  • provide a focus for discussion of emerging issues in the field and will influence policy-making
  • act as a catalyst for change at board level and in global supply chains
  • help businesses and Government departments to maximise the benefits of informed supply chain management
  • help reduce reputational risk to business and Government.
