Danielle Mulder is an experienced sustainability leader specialising in the field of sustainability strategy, supply chain, life cycle analysis and social value. Prior to working in the sustainability sector, Danielle was a global management consultant with Accenture and KPMG where she gained extensive major international project experience working in several geographies including the USA, Europe and Australia.
It was during her time as a senior strategist on London 2012 Olympic Games that Danielle developed her interest and passion for sustainability. It was Danielle’s ‘light bulb’ moment where she realised that projects could be delivered differently to achieve positive outcomes for the environment and society. London 2012 was hailed a huge success on many levels, and earned its badge as the ‘most sustainable games ever’ which Danielle feels very proud to have made a significant contribution.
Danielle is a whole of life measurement specialist who combines financials with environmental impacts (life cycle analysis) and social return on investment models, having returned to the UK after working in this field in Australia for several years. Danielle has an MSc in Computer Science and is developing tools and applications that enable sustainability excellence in organisations.
Danielle is also an enthusiastic bike rider, traveller and avid reader. Her latest interest is in permaculture and she’s on a mission to grow food at home for her two kids and husband Jon.
