This event took place on 5th August 2020.

Join this fishbowl discussion: Hear our panellists talk about taking the ‘opportunity’ of lockdown to alter our work practices to a lower carbon alternative.

The recent #buildbackbetter campaign and other similar initiatives, have really highlighted the opportunity that lockdown has created to implement more sustainable processes within virtually all industries, and throughout supply chains.

Within the built environment, carbon has been at the forefront of many of these conversations, owing to the notable short-term reductions identified over the first half of 2020. Now, however, as our industry begins its restart, questions remain as to how best all members of our sector’s supply chain can alter work practices to lower carbon alternatives.

Action Sustainability hosts this conversation on carbon to discuss how the built environment, as an industry, can take the opportunity of lockdown to alter work practices to lower-carbon alternatives.

The first half of the session will run a facilitated discussion between our panellists. The second half of the session will be open for audience questions, giving you a change to join in, ask questions to the panellists and feed back on topics raised.
