What is this webinar about?

This FREE webinar focuses on the topic of Sustainability Strategy and discusses why implementing a meaningful strategy is key for any organisation, delivered by Action Sustainability‘s sustainability strategy team.

You will be given an overview of the key concepts within sustainability strategy, before hearing from two guest speakers that will discuss their experience of adopting an organisational sustainability strategy and their experience of the development process.

The guest speakers include James Riley, Sustainability Manager at Protec and Barry Large, Head of Learning & Development and Implementation at Amtico.

About the speakers

Imogen Player, Senior Consultant, Action Sustainability

Imogen is the Sustainability Strategy & Policy Lead at Action Sustainability, where she supports clients to develop and implement their sustainability strategies. She also supports clients to measure and manage their own sustainability performance, as well as their supply chains’, through the Sustainability Tool.

Sam Walker MSc PIEMA, Consultant Researcher, Action Sustainability & Sustainability Tool

Sam is a consultant researcher for the consultancy team at Action Sustainability, focusing on Sustainable Strategy and Social Value. He has worked with clients to develop and implement their sustainability strategies, performing detailed benchmarking analyses and heatmapping workshops. Sam also works on the Sustainability Tool, supporting clients to measure and report on their sustainability impact and using the data collected to further develop their sustainability strategies.

Grace O’Connell AIEMA, Content Co-ordinator and Consultant Researcher, Action Sustainability & Supply Chain Sustainability School

Grace has over 5 years’ experience in the design, planning and delivery of high quality and engaging digital learning content, and uses her research, data and technical skills to oversee the Supply Chain Sustainability School’s online knowledge library. She has also supported clients with the development and implementation of their sustainability strategy, conducting detailed benchmarking analysis, reporting, and helping devise sustainability roadmaps across the areas of carbon, waste and people.

Barry Large, Head of Learning & Development and Sustainability Implementation, Amtico

Barry supports all departments across Amtico with upskilling and professional development, to taking an active role in the delivery of our sustainability strategy, Responsible Foundations – which aims to reduce waste, empower our people, and innovate new ways of working with a focus on climate.

Jim Riley, Sustainability Manager, Protec International Ltd

Jim is the Sustainability manager for Protec International Ltd with over 18 years technical experience in the industry. He manages Protec’s Environmental Management System and was key in the development of Protec’s Proplex Closed Loop Re-Manufacturing scheme
