Emma-Jane Allen (known as EJ) has led the development of the Construction and Homes market in the multi-award winning Supply Chain Sustainability School since its inception.
Backed by the UK’s top 10 homebuilders and 100+ main contractors, clients and FM service providers, the School is recognised as the ‘go to’ resource for developing sustainability skills in the built environment. EJ works closely with our School partners to develop both internal and supply chain engagement strategies and ensure that value is delivered. She facilitates collaboration across partner organisations, helping them to harness their combined procurement leverage to deliver a more sustainable built environment.
EJ is passionate about the ‘social’ pillar of sustainability and works with clients to upskill the value chain on all things ‘people’ related, including social value and modern slavery. Stakeholder engagement and management is a key strength.
Prior to life as a consultant / trainer, and before the launch of the School, EJ worked as both Business Manager and Senior Project Manager for Action Sustainability when she spent most of her time project managing sustainable supply chain projects for local and central government and, clients from the built environment.
EJ speaks fluent Spanish and French, with a smidgen of Japanese and Catalan thrown in for good measure. She loves all things ‘outdoorsy’ – especially camping, and loves to travel.
