Holly Hansen-Maughan Sector Manager - Retrofit & Construction

Holly Hansen-Maughan is the Sector Manager for the Retrofit, Construction & Future Workforce streams of the Supply Chain Sustainability School. This means she leads the collaborative groups of partners, designs and delivers the business plan (including new content, learning and events) and further engages partners, members and industry in those areas. Construction is an embedded core market of the school whereas Retrofit and Future Workforce are the newest areas and therefore the work for each of these sectors differs.

She also account manages a cohort of partners to enable them to get the most out of their partnership, and works with the school team to increase the school’s impact.

Before joining, she worked in sustainability and green skills in Further Education. She won the Green Gown award in 2021 for her work with businesses and communities in enabling retrofit skills. Her work in this field led her to specialise in sustainability in education and on skills gaps in the built environment. Before this, Holly received a BA Hons in History, and an MA in Global Development and Education. She’s previously worked in the third sector, and in Ecuador for many years as a teacher (and singer) so speaks fluent Spanish.

Out of work, she spends a lot of time outdoors in her home county of Yorkshire – hiking and playing 5-aside football. For balance, she also spends a lot of time eating cake.
