Sarah Chatfield BA(Hons) CIPS (Dip) is a consultant specialising in sustainable procurement who aims to ensure the work she produces will have a meaningful impact on communities and the environment by engaging her personal passion for sustainability with her professional interest in sustainable procurement.

She has 7 years of procurement experience across multiple industries including fashion and the built environment; the bulk of her experience has been focused on embedding sustainable procurement into the business practices of main contractors and their supply chains within the built environment sector. Having worked across multiple industries, spotting opportunities for transferable best practice is an area of a particular interest.

Examples of her work include development of guidance and templates to embed sustainable procurement requirements in the procurement process for a variety of products and services including waste management, managing the collection and reporting of social value data; managing audits against ISO20400 and modern slavery standards and working collaboratively with supply chain partners to deliver social value.
