Diversity monitoring in the transport sector Online, Thursday 24 February, 13:00 - 14:15pm GMT

In this FREE webinar, Action Sustainability and its clients will present the findings from the largest ever survey on employee diversity in the transport sector, carried out for a group of clients composing HS2, National Highways, Network Rail and Transport for London.

Using Sustainability Tool data on over 250,000 employees collected from the client organisations and their suppliers across gender, age, religion & belief, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, voluntary leavers, part-time status, and attraction & recruitment.

This webinar will draw upon the key takeaways of the survey and explore how the data will be used to set aspirational targets at all levels for recruitment, retention, and progression of under-represented groups that reflect the demographic of the UK population.

The purpose of this free session will be to explore:

• Insights from the clients, with participation from National Highways and Transport for London.

• The mechanics of the survey and key challenges.

• An analysis of the diversity characteristics of the transport sector, benchmarked against the ONS general UK population.

• Areas for targeted improvement.

This session is suitable for all organisations interested in understanding how to measure and improve diversity within their organisation, supply chain and/or sector.

This session will be led by Charles Naud, Head of Product at the Sustainability Tool, he will be joined by Stuart Coates who is Assistant Responsible Procurement Manager at TfL and Belinda Blake, Equality Diversity and Inclusion Manager at National Highways.
